Lots of blogs! Why start a new one?

Yes, I know there are millions of blogs on the net, I'm a blog addict myself, sometimes I spend hours reading blogs, well not too often of course (note the sarcasm I'm really good at it), my conversations with my husband went from "there is a blog of a young couple who are remodeling their 50 year old ranch in Richmond, VA" to "Sherry and John started to remodel their laundry room in the new home"

or "there are two books coming out  from the creators of Decor8 and Design Sponge"

or "I will give it a try to the Agua de Sandía from Muy Bueno Cookbook"

or "look at the delicious cheesecake from Pioneer Woman and Smitten Kitchen"

and now he KNOWS who am I talking about, so why start one blog by myself if there are enough blogs for every subject you can imagine? well in fact he gave me the answer to this question because he's always pushing me encouraging me to act, he knows all my dreams and believes in them (sometimes more than I do), one of my dreams is to have a shop full of repurposed furniture, I'm kind of obsessed with old furniture and every time I see a neglected piece I imagine myself giving it a fresh coat of paint (never underestimate the power of paint) and I'm married a professional painter! he has a lot of knowledge about paint and paint finishes, why don't use it to make my dream come true! so stop dreaming and start acting! I'm reviving furniture with his help and I opened an Etsy shop!

Back to the subject: Lots of blogs! Why start a new one? because I want to have record of my furniture re-do's, the before and after, the makeovers from trash to treasure. And also because I live far from my family and this blog can help to keep them posted about we are doing :).
